Itinerary

Day 01- Arrival in Urumqi
On arrival at Urumqi airport transfer to the hotel.

Day 02- Flight to Kashgar
Morning visit to Urumqi museum and Erdaqiao market, flight to Kashgar you will be meet by our local guide and transfer to the hotel. (B-L-D)

Day 03- Kashgar Sunday market
Full day sightseeing of Kashgar including visiting the famous Sunday market, Eid Ga mosque and Appak Khoja tomb. (B-L-D)

Day 04- Tashkurgan
Today we will drive on the famous Karakorum highway to Tashkurgan. On the way we stop at the Karakul Lake for a stunning view of Mustaghata Mountain. (B,L,D)

Day 05- Karimabad (Hunza)
Drive to Karimabad, the capital of Hunza overnight at hotel. (B-L-D)

Day 06- Karimabad
In the morning we visit the ancient Baltit fort, free afternoon to wander around the beautiful town. (B-L-D).

Day 07 Berichokore
Drive across the Hunza River to enter the mountain kingdom of Nagar. We start our trek from Hoper village and in about 5 hours we will reach the Brichkoor camp site. During this trek we have beautiful views of Ultar, Diran and Spantik peaks. (B-L-D)

Day 08 Chidin Harai
After an early breakfast, we walk to the Chidin Harai (4 to 5 hours).
This steep 1140m climb. Chidin Harai enjoys late afternoon light and is a perfect camp from which to enjoy sunset and sunrise against the backdrop of vast peaks. This wall of 7000m peaks includes: Lupgar SAR (7728m), Mulungutti SAR (7025m), and Disteghil SAR (7885m). Over night at camp, (B-L-D)

Day 09 Rush Lake
Rush Lake (4,700 m 15,400 ft): Camp and trek. In about 2 hours of walking we will arrive at one of the most beautiful place in the Hunza valley with awesome views of the Karakoram. If we climb a nearby hilltop, we can see K2 along with the other high peaks of the Karakoram. (B-L-D)

Day 10 Pahypari
(3,500 m 11,480 ft): Camp and trek. An epic descent day! We will come down about 1,200 meters in approximately 4 hours. The descent is on some talus and grassy slopes. (B-L-D)

Day 11- Hoper-Karimabad
After breakfast, we trek to Hopper villiage for lunch. After lunch, drive to Karimabad by jeep. Overnight at hotel. (B,L,D).

Day 12-Gulmit
Drive to Gulmit. Free afternoon to explore this friendly village. In the evening, you will be invited for a traditional dinner cooked by a local family. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13-Gulmit
Gulmit hike through Ghulkin village and glacier to Borith Lake. On the way we stop at a local family house for lunch. Drive back to Gulmit (B-L-D).

Day 14-Tashkurgan
We drive to Sost and depart Hunza valley. On arrival at Tashkurgan, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. (B-L-D)

Day 15- Kashgar
Tour ends after lunch upon arrival in Kashgar. No hotels.
