Itinerary

Day 01- Hong Kong
Own arrangements from Hong Kong airport to your hotel or transfer can be arranged for an additional cost. Your flight tickets will be waiting at your hotel please collect them from the reception at check in.

Day 02 Hong Kong-Guilin-Yangshuo
Own arrangement to Hong Kong airport or airport transfer can be arranged for an additional cost. On arrival at Guilin airport, meet your guide and transfer to Yangshuo (BD)

Day 03- Yangshou
Li river private boat trip from Xing Ping to Yangdi. Return to Yangshuo, free afternoon for optional activities such as Chinese cooking lesson, Taichi, caving etc. In the evening, you have a chance to watch outstanding light show overnight in Yangshuo (BLD)

Day 04- Yangshuo
Morning bike ride though the beautiful country side of delightful Karst Mountains. Free afternoon (BLD)

Day 05- Kunming
Free morning. In the afternoon we take a flight to Kunming, the eternal spring city. Overnight in Kunming (BLD)

Day 06- Kunming
Today we visit the Kunming stone forest, later we visit a local park where you can observe the local people playing and dancing. Overnight in Kunming (BLD)

Day 07- Dali
Morning flight to Dali, the home of the Bai minority. Evening sightseeing in the old town. Overnight in Dali (BLD)

Day 08- Dali
Free day to explore this beautiful town, optional horse ride or cable car up to Cang Shan mountain from where you have a stunning view down the Dali. Optional bike ride or boat trip in the Er Hai lake or visit some of the local Bai Minority villages and markets (BLD)

Day 09- Tiger Leaping Gorges
Drive to through the beautiful Tiger Leaping Gorges to view the stunning Jade Dragon Mountain and Yangtze river. Overnight at Tina’s guest house(BLD)

Day 10- Lijiang
Optional hike from Tina’s guest house to half way guest house and lunch at half way guest house. Transfer to Lijiang.
Note: this hike is an optional. If you do not wish to hike you can stay at the hotel and catch up with the group at the end of the hike (BLD)

Day 11- Lijiang
Guided tour to the Black Dragon Pool park. Free afternoon to wander around the world heritage town (BLD)

Day 12- Chengdu
Full free day in Lijiang. Evening flight to Chengdu

Day 13- Chengdu
Visit the Chengdu Panda breeding centre, return to town and visit the Wenshu temple and Renmin park. (BLD)

Day 14- Chengdu
Day trip to Leishan Giant Buddha. Overnight in Chengdu (BLD)

Day 15-16 Chongqing Yangtze cruise boat
Morning transfer to Chongqing for our Yangtze cruise. We cruise for 2 nights down the Yangtze River, passing through the spectacular Three Gorges. Along the way we stop for various excursions to places of interest. (BLD)

Day 17- Yichang-Shanghai
Disembark in Yichang. Transfer to the airport for a flight to Shanghai. Overnight in Shanghai (BLD)

Day 18- Shanghai
Shanghai city tour of Yiyuan Gardens, the Bund and Shanghai museum. In the evening we will see the Shanghai Acrobats, a must see show. (BLD)

Day 19- Shanghai-Xian
Free morning. Later transfer to airport for flight to Xian. Overnight in Xian (BLD)

Day 20- Xian
Today we will visit the highlight of Xian: the fascinating Terracotta army. In the afternoon, we visit the Shanxi history museum and the great Mosque. Overnight in Xian (BLD)

Day 21- Beijing
In the morning, optional bike ride on the Xian ancient city wall. Transfer to the airport for a flight to Beijing (BLD)

Day 22- Beijing
Full day sightseeing of Beijing including Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City. Overnight in Beijing (B-LD)

Day 23- Beijing
Today we visit the Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven and Hutong old town. Overnight in Beijing (BLD)

Day 24- Beijing
Visit the Great Wall of Mutianyue. Return to Beijing via the Ming tombs. In the evening, dinner at a famous Beijing duck restaurant (BLD).

Day 25- Onward flight
Our trip will end with airport transfer (B)
