Itinerary

Day 01 Islamabad
Arrival and transfer to the Hotel. (D)

Day 02 Islamabad- Besham
Drive to Besham en route visit Taxila (BLD)

Day 03 Besham- Gilgit
Drive to Gilgit along the Karakorum highway en-route we will stop for a photo stop. (BLD)

Day 04 Karimabad
Drive to Karimabad, including visits to Baltit fort and Karimabad village (BLD)

Day 05 Karimabad;
Full day in Karimabad including visit Duiker Sunrise, Hopper Glacier (BLD)

Day 06 Karimabad-Gulmit
Drive to Gulmit afternoon walk around the beautiful village and meet the locals. (BLD)

Day 07 Gulmit
Morning hike through Ghulkin village where we will stop for local family brunch later cross Ghulkin glacier to Borith lake, drive back to Gulmit, tonight you will be invited to a local family for a local style dinner (BLD)

Day 08 Karimabad - Sost - Tashkurgan
Drive to Sost to cross Pakistan - China border. Pack lunch will be provided for the rest of the journey. After custom and immigration formalities upon arrival transfer to the Pamir hotel (BLD)

Day 09 Kashgar
Drive to Kashgar En-route we will stop for lunch at the beautiful Karakuli Lake-located between the two Pamir giant mountains - Mustaghata (24,524 ft) and Kongur (25,086 ft). On the way to Kashgar we will stop at some small villages for photos with it is unique ethnic characteristics. Overnight at hotel (BLD)

Day 10 Kashgar Sunday Market
City tour of Kashgar which includes the colorful Sunday Market, Abkhoja Tomb, Eddgha Mosque and other historical sights in the evening transfer to the airport for your flight to Urumqi, on arrival transfer to the hotel for overnight.
Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang province, and is the home of 14 minority groups (BLD)

Day 11 Urumqi-Turfan
Morning short visit Urumqi, museum where the Mummies are in Display and the markets, later drive to Turfan for overnight.

Day 12 Turfan - Liuyuan
Full day sightseeing of the Turfan, visit the underground irrigation system of Kerez Wells that keeps Turfan an oasis city . Finish the tour with a visit to the underground tombs of the ancient Turkic civilization and view the mummified remains of the royal
family. After dinner transfer to the railway station for night train to Dunhuang.
Overnight on board. (BLD)

Day 13 Dunhuang
On arrival in the morning transfer to Dunhuang city, afternoon visit Crescent Moon Lake, and Ming Sha sand Dunes.

Day 14 Dunhuang
Morning visit to MOGAO GROTTOES, Spend the day in the caves of the Magao Grottoes. Dunhuang is recognized as having one of the largest Buddhist art collections in the world. The five layers of caves are decorated with frescoes and murals, clay figures and carvings that date from the 4th Century to the 14th Centuries.

Day 15 Dunhuang – Xian
Transfer to the airport for your flight to XIAN. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon visit Xian Mosque, Muslim Quarter, Wild Goose Pagoda and City wall of Ming Dynasty.

Day 16 Xian –Terracotta Army –overnight train
Half day tour of TERRACOTTA ARMY, Free afternoon before catch overnight soft sleeper train to Beijing. (BL)

Day 17 Beijing
On arrival in Beijing transfer to the hotel, afternoon visit Forbidden City & Temple of Haven (LD)

Day 18 Beijing
Hike on the less visited part of the great wall (Jing shanling to Simatai Great wall) back to the hotel for the farewell dinner at the Beijing Duck Restaurant. (BLD)

Day 19 End of the trip
Tour ends with airport transfer
