Itinerary

Day 01- Urumqi arrival
On arrival at Urumqi airport, transfer to the hotel.

Day 02- Turfan
Full day sightseeing of Turfan, visit including Jiaohe old ruined city, Amin Minarets, Karez underground water system and grape valley.

Day 03- Overnight train to Kuqa
Free morning. After lunch, transfer to the train station for an overnight train to Kuqa

Day 04- Kuqa
Free time in the afternoon to wander the streets by foot or take a local horse cart taxi. Overnight in hotel.

Day 05- Kuqa
Full free day in Kuqa to visit the Kyzil thousand Buddha cave and Subashi ruins. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06- Kashgar
Drive to Kashgar, free afternoon to wander around the town.

Day 07-Drive to Kashgar
Full day in Kashgar: visit the Sunday market, Eid Ga mosque and Appak Khoja Tomb. (B-L-D)

Day 08- Tashkurgan
Today we will drive on the famous Karakorum highway to Tashkurgan. On the way we stop at the Karakul Lake for a stunning view of Mustaghata Mountain. (B, L,D)

Day 09- Khunjerab pass excursion Kashgar
Drive through the Khunjerab pass (4750m) on the border of China and Pakistan. En-route you will see stunning views of the Pamir and Karakorum mountain ranges. Later, we drive back to Kashgar. (B-L-D)

Day 10- Tour ends
Tour ends after breakfast
